Somethimes we need extra penetration or simple we wonder why the fish fought so long although the shot was very well placed. The conical tip spears tend to push the flesh out without causing much damage but a good prepared tri-cut shaft does much more than that. The advantages of cutting a bone or a critical nerve is huge when it comes to land your life time trophy. Here are the very easy and basic steps to make tri-cut tips for your spear shafts. |

It has always been a pleassure to watch innovative ideas about the penumatic guns on forum pages but the simplicity behind this project amused me. We were all waiting for the completed version of the project Mamba Sleeve and here it is with the final part. |

I thought it would be fun to build a different style sleeve to fit over my Mamba 90 barrel. I love the gun for its compact size & amazing power but you would have to admit that air guns are not exactly pretty! So I wondered if it was possible to kill two birds with one stone - balance the gun & give it a modern & trendy look? |

This is the project to build a new gun for my personal use in my home waters in the Channel Islands. I will mainly shoot bass in shallow water (1 -10mts) & in mixed visibility from 2mts - 12mts. I think a single band enclosed track 90cm gun would suit my needs. |

The ones who used slip tip on their guns know; it reduces the shaft speed. As being a Mediterranean spearo we usually do not have the luxury to catch slow and extra curious fish. Our preys are usually fast, evil and unpredictable. If you add the factor of soft flesh in this equation the result is not that easy to figure out. |

After remodeling my spade gun, our project of challenging to create our woodies with Memor is on the way. In fact we plan to make nearly twin guns with Memor's Project slip tip gun, We had a slight problem on the tip with one of them. So i decided immediately as a surgeon (in fact we don’t know anything besides making operation) to make circumcision to one of these twins as a routine. |

As i have said before to Memor's updated little gun thread, nowadays (especially fishless days) it is trendy to make some pimping to our old friends. My old friend in this case was an imitation of an Albacor, a friend of mine was made the gun for me 2 years ago, i have balanced the gun and used it at the 2006 summer but i really was not glad too much, after trying different setups there were two problems with it ... |
